Joined as Associate Professor, Department of Economics with Rural Development on 17th October 2012 and promoted to the post of Professor of Economics in the same department w.e.f. 1st September 2013.
Joined K. K. Das College, Kolkata (under University of Calcutta) as Lecturer in Economics on 17th November 1980, promoted to Reader w.e.f. 18th January 1994 and re-designated as Associate Professor in Economics w.e.f. 1st January 2006.
