About the department :
Individual Science Department has its own instrumental facility sponsored by DST, UGC Govt. of India. In spite of that the University has central instrumental facilities under the umbrella of USIC. Presently the following instruments are available:

• Gas Liquid Chromatography (Hewlett-Packard)
• Cold Centrifuge (Beckman)
• Hitachi Spectrophotometer
• Freezer Drier (Eyela)
• Phase contrast microscope

The USIC presently is situated in the Dept. of Zoology. The university has a future plan to develop the Center with more sophisticated instruments.
