“Welcome to Vidyasagar University. It is one of the most promising Universities in the country. It was established as a state university in West Bengal in 1981. It is engaged in empowering the backward social clusters by promoting the ethnic, social, religious and cultural diversity in unity. At present we have 28 specializations at PG level in Science faculty and in Arts & Commerce faculty. The university has large pool of talents to recruit from a wide range of courses being offered at PG levels. The University has established a very substantial and fruitful linkage among various Institutions of National and International repute, NGOs, Government Organization which help immensely and potentially in promoting curricular development, on-job training, research, consultancy etc. A significant number of pass-outs of Computer Science, MCA, MBA, Microbiology, Chemistry, Bio-Medical Laboratory Science, Electronics, Physiology, Aquaculture etc have got placement in different organizations / research sectors / laboratories through these linkages.
