Research Week on “Nature, Culture and Politics”

Centre for Environmental Studies, Vidyasagar University, invites applications in prescribed format from scholars and young faculty members of University and Colleges pursuing M.Phil, Ph.D. and post-doctoral research programmes and independent researchers in History, Philosophy, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Literature, Geography, Environmental Studies and other relevant disciplines for participation in an interdisciplinary research programme on ‘Nature, Culture and Politics’ from 10-16th February 2020 at Vidyasagar University. The format and duration of the research week are in accordance with the UGC guidelines. Registration fee for the participants is Rs. 3000/-, payable in DD in favour of the Registrar, Vidyasagar University or by RTGS (UCO Bank; Vidyasagar University Branch; Account Number: 17480110083666; IFSC Code: UCBA0001748 ; Beneficiary Name : RESEARCH WEEK.CES.VU , for international remittance kindly use the following SWIFT CODE instead of IFSC. SWIFT Code - UCBAINBB102). Limited number of accommodation will be provided by the University on demand to the selected participants.
Applicants are advised to fill out the prescribed form available in the website of the Centre and send their full CV and a brief bio-data and a 150 word summary of the research at present pursued by them along with an application fee of Rs.500/- payable in DD in favour of the Registrar, Vidyasagar University.
